Barry L. Haydasz

Trail Specialist

845 677-7600 x242

Barry has been walking and writing about the trails of the Cary Institute since 2003. He focuses on the butterflies, birds and plants but will stop to look at anything unusual. When he's not on the trails, he is taking care of the Fern Glen, where the theme is native plants in native habitats.

He can also be found leading the occasional butterfly walk or participating in other nature programs at Cary. Bring your close-focus binoculars and look for him in the 'Glen.
