Cary Institute's Hudson Data Jam is an opportunity for students in grades 4-12 to explore ecological datasets, creatively communicate the stories they tell, and win cash prizes. Write a song, record a video, create a book, paint a mural – your imagination is the limit!
This webinar is geared toward educators and/or parents of middle and high school students participating in the Hudson Data Jam, but is open to anyone interested in learning about the competition. Jessica Genter, an experienced Data Jam adviser, will share best practices for successfully guiding students in analyzing and interpreting complex ecosystem data, and expressing trends through artistic mediums.
